We gave a session on Additive Manufacturing implementation in plastic industry, the past 2th of June. The session was organized by the IMPC (Institut Municipal de Promoció d’Olot) and it’s part of AGLOMERA’s project for companies of plastic industry.

Our presentation included an overview about applied impacts of 3D printing in plastic industry, highlighting some injection molding case studies and showing the productivity in tooling using AM technology.

One of the explained practical case studies is an own study made about the improvement of moulds refrigeration with 3D printed metal mold with conformal cooling channels, and it had been made in collaboration with Xavier Tió of Concept Advise & Esam.
