Growthobjects

LEITAT and Growthobjects together at In(3D)ustry 2016 – From Needs to Solutions. From 21st to 23rd June, Leitat Technological Centre and Growthobjects will take part at IN(3D)USTRY 2016, an international event focused on Additive and Advanced Manufacturing, at Fira de Barcelona’s Montjuïc Exhibition Centre.

We have collaborated creating new objects in 3D printing to help to understand the fuzzy logic for the exhibition “50 years of fuzzy ideas”, organized by CosmoCaixa science museum in Barcelona, in collaboration with the UdG, URV, UB i UOC universities and the RACEF and SIGEF institutions.

Next 10th and 11th of September, we will take part as invited speakers at the upcoming Add+it symposium on Additive Manufacturing and Innovative technologies at Johannes Kepler Universität in Linz, organized by Profactor and Institute for Polymer Product Engineering.

The new book “STAMPA 3D, Tutto quello che c’è da sapere sull’unica rivoluzione possibile” writted by Davide Sher and Dario Marinoni an published by Hoepli, includes an overview about us.

Last Wednesday 8th of July, our students of the 3rd edition of ELISAVA’s Postgraduate in Alternative Jewellery Design exhibited at Galeria Esther Montoriol in Barcelona.

The past 8th of July, Dr.Jordi Bayer of Growthobjects attended at 18th SIGEF Congress organized by the University of Girona.

We took part at the exhibition and presentation of the “Catalan Hunter” project at Carles Rahola Public Library in Girona. From 20th of May to 25th June 2015.

The journalist Davide Sher and Xavier Tutó of Growthobjects were invited to co-write an article about “food printing” for “Temes de Disseny” magazine published by the ELISAVA School of Design and Engineering of Barcelona.

We gave a session on Additive Manufacturing implementation in plastic industry, the past 2th of June. The session was organized by the IMPC (Institut Municipal de Promoció d’Olot) and it’s part of AGLOMERA’s project for companies of plastic industry.

We have been invited to share our professional vision about 3D printing for the June’s issue of “Arquitectura y Diseño” magazine published by RBA, in which we are mentioned as consultant.
